Aoife Kelly
ANGLO CONCERTINA
Aoife Kelly is an Irish concertina player from Dublin who comes from a family of traditional musicians, including her father John Kelly Jr, uncle James Kelly and grandfather John Kelly Senior.
She started learning the fiddle aged 4 and then she picked up the concertina at 10 years old. Her main musical influences, as well as the majority of her tunes come from County Clare, on the West coast of Ireland.
Aoife has a passion for teaching traditional Irish music and has been teaching music at the annual Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy (Willie Clancy Summer School) for nearly 20 years. Aoife has played in many concerts all over the world throughout the years.
Charlie Le Brun
TIMBER FLUTE
Charlie Le Brun is a flute player, singer and composer from Rennes, Brittany. He moved to Ireland in 2012 to pursue his passion for traditional Irish music and now divides his time between Dublin and Kilfenora, Co. Clare.
Charlie is classically trained and attended the conservatoire of music in Rennes from a young age playing the flute solo and in orchestras.
Over the years, Charlie has had the opportunity to perform on stage alongside renowned musicians and to share his knowledge as a flute tutor at various events, including the Meitheal Festival in Ennis in 2025 and the Willie Clancy Summer School in Miltown Malbay in 2026.
